The National School Lunch Program requires households to fill out a new application for free/reduced lunch every school year, including households who were approved last school year. These applications must be completed within the first 30 days of the new school year or the benefits will expire. Benefits from the previous year will expire on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Students whose households have not renewed their application by September 24th will be required to pay for meals. We encourage you to check with the cafeteria on the status of your household and benefits as soon as possible. You may fill out an application online or submit a paper copy. The applications are available on the Blue Ridge ISD website, at www.bit.ly/LunchAppBRISD, or at your child's campus.

Parents/Guardians of returning students MUST complete the registration process to confirm or update student information and complete required forms. New Personal Communications Device Law
Texas House Bill 1481, a new state law, will take effect during the 2025-26 school year and will directly impact student personal communication devices during the school day, from the first bell to the last bell.
Students may not use personal cellphones, tablets, smartwatches, earbuds, or similar devices during the school day. This includes lunch and passing periods.
Please begin talking to your child now about this upcoming change. Your support will help us create a more focused learning environment.

During our July 21st board meeting, the Blue Ridge ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025–2026 compensation plan, which includes teacher pay increases ranging from $1,500–$8,000 and a 5% raise from the midpoint for all non-teaching staff.
