This week, Blue Ridge ISD is proud to celebrate National School Counseling Week with schools across the country. This year’s theme, “School Counselors Amplify Student Success,” shines a spotlight on the incredible work our counselors do every day to support students academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our school counselors help students set goals, build healthy coping and relationship skills, navigate challenges, and plan for what comes next. They also partner closely with families, teachers, and staff to remove barriers to learning and make sure every student has the support they need to thrive.
Join us in thanking our Blue Ridge ISD counselors for the care, guidance, and steady encouragement they provide all year long.

In the event of delays, closures, or schedule changes due to inclement weather, BRISD will inform our families through multiple communication channels, including:

Blue Ridge ISD is excited to launch School-Based Telehealth in partnership with Children’s Health℠ Virtual Care, giving families convenient access to trusted pediatric care at school or at home.
With parent/guardian permission, students can connect with a Children’s Health provider through a secure video visit, receive a diagnosis, and have prescriptions sent to your pharmacy if needed.

✔️ Billed to insurance or Medicaid (discounts available)
✔️ No student turned away due to inability to pay
