Due to the threat of severe weather on Friday night, all BRISD football games will be moving up one day.
7th/8th/JV will be played today, Wednesday, October 22nd in Gunter.
Varsity will be played tomorrow, Thursday, October 23rd in Blue Ridge.
Game times will remain the same.
Trunk or Treat at the BRE will remain on Thursday, October 23rd but will be from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.

The Tigers and Lady Tigers showed out at the District Cross Country meet today!
Leslie Bobbitt earned first place and is District Champion, while Paisley McElhieney finished 6th for the varsity girls, both qualifying for Regionals. The Lady Tigers also made school history by advancing as a team to the Regional meet. The team includes Leslie, Paisley, Sara Cable, Liz Martinez, and Everleigh Oquin.
Peyton Tankersley earned third place and his own spot at the Regional meet, while the rest of the boys also had strong showings.
We are proud of these athletes and coaches for Raising the Ridge!

Tonight is the Homecoming Parade and Community Pep Rally! The parade begins at 6:00 PM, and the pep rally will immediately follow the completion of the parade. We hope to see everyone there!

The National School Lunch Program requires households to fill out a new application for free/reduced lunch every school year, including households who were approved last school year. These applications must be completed within the first 30 days of the new school year or the benefits will expire. Benefits from the previous year will expire tomorrow. Students whose households have not renewed their application by tomorrow will be required to pay for meals. We encourage you to check with the cafeteria on the status of your household and benefits as soon as possible. You may fill out an application online or submit a paper copy. The applications are available on the Blue Ridge ISD website, at
www.bit.ly/LunchAppBRISD, or at your child's campus.
