Grade 3 GT is working hard and playing hard as we create our first showcase! Today we researched binomial nomenclature as we prepared for creating new species and habitats. Then we used Latin roots to create species with specific traits and created Taxonomy quiz games!

When great readers are given great literature, great conversations happen! This group of fifth graders had wonderful discussions today about the power of words as they discussed each character's nickname in Holes.



Mrs. Bowlin's class enjoyed some individual reading time while she pulled a small group to work on specific skills.



1st Grade Tigers exercised their right to vote today and are eagerly awaiting the results of the election. What will their incentive goal be: extra recess or a movie? First grade teachers: You ROCK by teaching real world ideas in Social Studies!

First Grade is using their Alphabet Arcs to review letters and sounds. They love making words like witch, and itch with their digraphs and trigraphs! SO MUCH FUN!


We have had a nice fun Red Ribbon week here at BRE! 5th grade even came up with some ideas of what they want to be when they grow up because after all anything is possible if we stay drug free!
