Yesterday we analyzed the poem “Think Like a Tree” from Storyworks based on its author’s purpose, theme, main idea, and connections across all 3 classes! They were super engaged and all of their posters are on display in the hallway.

We are wrapping up our fundraiser. Let's finish strong!!! All orders due by 9/19!

4th graders took poetry to the next level with a Poetry Slam! Students selected their favorite song and dove deep into the lyrics, identifying elements of poetry. What an authentic and meaningful way for students to broadcast their learning.

Look at all of these prize winners who have sold at least 1 item for our cookie dough fundraiser!

5th grade is learning about different art mediums this week. Check out our out of this world moon phases made with chalk and oil pastels!

4th grade Math working in groups to solve multi step addition problems around the room. Notice those student leaders taking initiative and guiding their group!
