🎀 Important Update: New Location for Our Breast Cancer Awareness Walk! 🎀 We’re walking for a cause that touches so many lives and we hope you’ll join us! 💗 Due to the chance of rain, the Breast Cancer Walk will now take place inside the BRHS Gym. Same great energy, same important mission, just a new spot! Come walk with us as we honor survivors, remember loved ones, and raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Thank you to Autumn from Tiger Creek Animal Sanctuary for coming out today to give our 3rd graders some in person science learning! Our third grade GT students are studying conservation and endangered animals through their semester research project.

BRISD will be honoring all veterans on Tuesday, November 11th. Join us for breakfast at BRE at 9:00am and for our annual program at BRHS at 10:00am.

Our Trunk or Treat time is being pushed up due to a change in the Varsity football schedule. We hope to see you from 4:30-6:30pm tomorrow!

Due to the threat of severe weather on Friday night, all BRISD football games will be moving up one day.

7th/8th/JV will be played today, Wednesday, October 22nd in Gunter.

Varsity will be played tomorrow, Thursday, October 23rd in Blue Ridge.

Game times will remain the same.

Trunk or Treat at the BRE will remain on Thursday, October 23rd but will be from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.

Next week kicks off BRE BETA Club's Annual Food Drive with 4 Corners Food Pantry! Can collection will begin next Monday, October 27th! We can't wait to see how our Tigers show up for our community!

Our fifth graders are getting hands on practice today with building circuits in Mrs. Norton's science class!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month! Join BRISD in celebrating Unity Day on Wednesday, October 22nd by wearing orange. This is a day when we can come together to send a visible message of building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

What a sweet moment! A friend was having some trouble and another friend showed such leadership by saying, “I’m not going to do it for you- we will do it together” 🥰

On October 25th, the BRISD BETA clubs will be hosting our 2nd Annual Susan G. Komen Walk!
Please come out to walk and support the cause! This event is open to the whole family. Grab your buddy, put on some good walking shoes, and join us for the perfect start to a Saturday! We hope to see you there!
