The National School Lunch Program requires households to fill out a new application for free/reduced lunch every school year, including households who were approved last school year. These applications must be completed within the first 30 days of the new school year or the benefits will expire. Benefits from the previous year will expire on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Students whose households have not renewed their application by September 25th will be required to pay for meals. We encourage you to check with the cafeteria on the status of your household and benefits as soon as possible. You may fill out an application online or submit a paper copy. The applications are available on the Blue Ridge ISD website or at www.bit.ly/LunchAppBRISD. If you have any questions, please contact Terri Rodriquez, Director of Child Nutrition.

Blue Ridge ISD uses Anonymous Alerts for students or parents in the school community to anonymously submit any suspicious activity, bullying, or other student-related issues to a school administrator. We encourage you to report important issues. While we understand that anonymity is needed sometimes, we also believe that the best way to address complaints or concerns is through personal contact with a teacher, school administrator, counselor, or coach/sponsor directly. If you would like to report bullying, cyber-bullying, or other sensitive topics confidentially, please use this link: https://www.anonymousalerts.com/blueridgeisd/ For other types of complaints or concerns, please contact the teacher, coach, or administrator directly via email or phone, and follow the chain of command in resolving those issues.

The Rockyard's 4th Annual Back Our Teachers Fundraiser in June was a great success, raising $78k for the teachers of 7 local elementary schools. Each of the seven schools received $11,150. We are so grateful for the Pannkuk families for their hard work, dedication, and support of the community. We are also thankful for the incredible support of the local community members and businesses. Their generosity is such a blessing. Please make plans to join us next year for the 5th Annual Back Our Teachers Fundraiser on Sunday June 8th, 2025.
