This is our final week of Summer Meals!
We will be serving FREE breakfast and lunch for all children 18 and under this summer.
When: Monday through Thursday, May 26 through June 25
Where: Blue Ridge Elementary Cafeteria, 10944 CR 504
Breakfast: 7:30 to 9:00 AM
Lunch: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Students attending summer school and summer workouts will also have the opportunity to enjoy these meals.

Bus registration for the 26-27 school year is now open at www.brisd.net/page/transportation. Students must be registered for transportation each year; lists do not roll over. Students registered for the bus after July 20th may not be assigned to a route until the second week of school.

Help us welcome Mrs. Kristi Moore to Blue Ridge Elementary! 💚🐅
Mrs. Moore will be serving in our Special Education department alongside Jessica Pender and Chasity McCullough. She began her career as a preschool teacher in 2022 and has spent the last two years working as a Special Education aide.
She is excited about Blue Ridge because of the small-town feel and the opportunity for her two children to experience it as well.
⚾ Fun Facts:
• Mrs. Moore is a huge Atlanta Braves fan, and her family moved to Texas from Georgia six years ago.
• She has a passion for hosting events and gift-giving and loves helping bring someone’s vision or theme to life!
We are excited to have Mrs. Moore join the Tiger family and can't wait to see the impact she will make on our students! 💚🐅

Help us welcome Mrs. Alissa Waters to Blue Ridge Elementary! 💚🐅
Mrs. Waters is joining our Kindergarten team after spending the last 8 years teaching first grade. We are excited for her to begin this new chapter and share her experience with our youngest Tigers!
☀️ Fun Fact: Mrs. Waters loves spending time with her husband and twin boys! As a family, they enjoy traveling, playing with their golden retriever, hanging out by the pool, and riding their side-by-side together.

Afternoon basketball camps are continuing despite the district not having power. The elementary gym has enough emergency lighting to finish the day.

Meet Jessica Pender! 💚🦎🐠🐶
One fun fact about Jessica is that her family has what they call the “Pender Zoo!” 🐾 They breed bearded dragons, collect rare tarantulas, have two English Mastiffs, two parrots, a baby calf, a beautiful blue chameleon, and lots of fish including a black arowana, oscars, bettas, and koi!
We are so excited for Jessica to bring her fun personality, energy, and love for learning to Blue Ridge Elementary this year! 🐅
