Warmer weather is near and that means it is time for spring sports! Softball takes on Celeste tonight at home and then the Lone Oak Tournament later in the week while Tiger Baseball heads to the Whitewright tournament. The BRISD Education Foundation is holding its 3rd annual Steak Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, February 24th at 6:00 in the BRHS Gym. The cost of one ticket is $100 and admits two for the steak dinner and one chance to win the prize money. There will also be a ton of silent auction items to bid on throughout dinner.

Blue Ridge ISD will be closed on Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 16th.

We will monitor the weather including road conditions and wind temperatures throughout the weekend. Any decision on a delayed start or school closure will be widely communicated to parents via social media, district website, emails, phone calls, texts, mobile app, and local broadcast stations.
