Blue Ridge ISD is pleased to share the October 2026 Monthly Update for the Bond 2025 Initiative, providing the community with another look at the progress being made on projects funded through the 2025 School Bond.
This month’s update reflects continued momentum across the bond program, with total expenditures now at $10,799,169. Of that amount, just over $7 million has been invested to date in the new intermediate school campus.

Featured Project: Blue Ridge Intermediate School Construction Progress
This month’s featured project is the continued construction of the new Blue Ridge Intermediate School, where several major site and foundation milestones have now been reached.
Both parking lots are complete, and site utility work has been finished. The foundation and building pad for the gym/storm shelter are also complete, while foundation work is now underway for the academic wing and office suite. The October progress photos show these areas beginning to take shape across the site, including the completed parking areas, the gym/storm shelter foundation, and ongoing work on the academic wing.
Another important milestone is now approaching. Some of the structural steel has arrived on site, and construction is expected to begin going vertical in the coming weeks. This will mark a significant visual change for the project as the future campus begins to rise above the foundation work that has dominated construction so far.
The October bond report shows $7,042,899 spent to date on the new intermediate school project, with construction continuing through the current phase of the Bond 2025 timeline.
