Blue Ridge ISD is pleased to share the September 2026 Monthly Update for the Bond 2025 Initiative, offering families, staff, and community members a current look at the work continuing across the district through the 2025 School Bond.
These monthly updates are intended to provide a clear picture of both project progress and the financial status of the bond program. As of this month, total Bond 2025 expenditures have reached $8,489,534, including $515,011 invested to date in the high school gym renovation project.

Featured Project: Blue Ridge High School Gym Renovations
This month’s featured project is the ongoing renovation of the Blue Ridge High School gym. While the project is not yet fully complete, several major improvements are now in place and are already transforming the look and function of the space.
The new gym floor has been installed and painted, and the new video board and additional scoreboards have been installed. Most of the new home-side bleachers are also in place. Crews have added new padding at the ends of the courts, and the basketball goals and other gym equipment have been serviced as part of the overall renovation.
Together, these improvements are creating a more modern, functional, and polished environment for students, athletes, staff, and spectators. The progress photos on page two of this month’s update show the newly finished floor, video board, scoreboards, and other visible improvements inside the gym.
Although additional work remains, the progress completed so far represents a significant step forward for this Bond 2025 project. The September bond report lists the high school gym renovation as an active project, with $138,527 remaining in the current project budget.
