Blue Ridge ISD is excited to share the July 2026 Monthly Update for the Bond 2025 program, highlighting continued progress on voter-approved projects across the district and another completed improvement for students. This month’s update reflects steady momentum within the Bond 2025 program and showcases a project that will have a direct day-to-day impact on middle school students.
Through these monthly updates, the district aims to provide families, staff, and community members with a consistent look at how bond funds are being put to work. Each update includes current financial information, project progress, and photos that help show how these investments are taking shape across Blue Ridge ISD. The July update shows total bond spending to date of $5,555,389, with the middle school gym locker replacement added to the list of completed projects. The four completed projects account for approximately $2,685,000 in savings over the original budget.

Featured Project: Blue Ridge Middle School Locker Room Renovation
This month’s featured project is the completed renovation of the BRMS locker rooms. The project included new lockers and benches and more than doubled the locker capacity available for students. It also replaced the previous metal benches, which had sharp edges, with new benches featuring wood tops for a safer and more updated space.
In addition to increasing capacity and improving safety, the renovation also included accessible lockers and benches to better serve students with disabilities. These improvements represent a meaningful upgrade to a space used daily by student athletes and reflect the district’s commitment to creating facilities that are functional, safe, and designed to meet the needs of all students.
Photos included in this month’s update highlight the finished locker room renovation and mark another important Bond 2025 milestone for Blue Ridge ISD.
