Congrats to our Cross Country teams. They competed in the TCS XC Invitational at Pecan Grove Park in Sherman this morning. Josie Zuniga and Brinlee Elias led the way for the girls placing 11th and 37th out of 114 girls. Waylon Bledsoe led the boys placing 18th out of 129 runners.

This is the last week to register for the bus for the 25-26 school year and be guaranteed transportation during the first week of school. Register at www.brisd.net/page/transportation. Remember, students must be registered for transportation each year. Students registered for the bus after July 31st may not be assigned to a route until the second week of school.

New Personal Communications Device Law
Texas House Bill 1481, a new state law, will take effect during the 2025-26 school year and will directly impact student personal communication devices during the school day, from the first bell to the last bell.
Students may not use personal cellphones, tablets, smartwatches, earbuds, or similar devices during the school day. This includes lunch and passing periods.
Please begin talking to your child now about this upcoming change. Your support will help us create a more focused learning environment.
