
After months of meetings and a thorough evaluation of the district's immediate facility needs due to growth, the Long Range Facility Planning Committee—comprised of parents, community members, educators, and district employees—presented their findings and recommendations to the BRISD School Board at their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 21st.
The BRISD Board of Trustees approved the committees recommendation by calling a bond election for a total amount of $59,470,000, to be held on May 3, 2025. Importantly, this bond proposal would not result in a tax rate increase for taxpayers. Projects will be funded through new valuations and growth within the district. For the safety of our students, staff, and families, Blue Ridge ISD will be closed on Friday, January 10th. All high school basketball games for Friday have been canceled. We look forward to seeing everyone back on campus on Monday. Stay safe and warm!


Due to inclement weather conditions and the forecast of a wintry mix, precipitation, freezing temperatures, and the potential for hazardous road conditions, Blue Ridge ISD will be closed tomorrow, January 9th. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution and with the safety of our students and staff in mind. Please note that all BRMS Basketball games for tomorrow have also been canceled.

BRHS is proud to announce 5 students named to the Four States Honor Band: Isabella Chavira, Georgie Cheshek, Karilynn Black, Javier Perales, and Ethan Turner. The band, with students from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas, will perform January 18 in Texarkana, TX.


It snowed at BRHS. Find your snowflake and turn it in the Ms. Clark or Ms. Wilkinson to get your treat!

Today is the day! Area playoffs are tonight at 7:30! Please note that there will be no concession stand available at the game tonight so outside food and drinks WILL be allowed in the stadium. Go Tigers!

Springtown and Porcupine Stadium have informed us that there will be no concession stand open at the game. Food and drinks will be allowed in the stadium bleachers.
