
K/1 GT was challenged to build a to use only paper and 3 feet of tape as they tried to build the tallest skyscraper. I loved the vocabulary these kids used - stable, instead, precise, rigid, flexible! Wow!







GT students are stretching their big brains this week. Watching these two boys battle it out in a game of Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe was Super Bowl level intense! Stretch those brains with strategy games!

After months of meetings and a thorough evaluation of the district's immediate facility needs due to growth, the Long Range Facility Planning Committee—comprised of parents, community members, educators, and district employees—presented their findings and recommendations to the BRISD School Board at their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 21st.
The BRISD Board of Trustees approved the committees recommendation by calling a bond election for a total amount of $59,470,000, to be held on May 3, 2025. Importantly, this bond proposal would not result in a tax rate increase for taxpayers. Projects will be funded through new valuations and growth within the district.
