Tonight, the BRMS and JV Football teams will play Gunter at home, and BRES is hosting a Trunk or Treat event. Parking for the football games will be in the BRMS and CTE parking lots. Parking for the BRES Trunk or Treat will be in the side elementary lot and the high school student parking lot. Please see the attached map. Football parking is highlighted in green and Trunk or Treat parking is highlighted in orange. We hope to see everyone out tonight! #BRISDpride
Mrs. Lopez's class is using alphabet arcs to reinforce the alphabetic principle, improve letter and sound recognition, as well as build grade level words. We are building phonics super stars at BRE! #RaiseTheRidge

Mrs. Davis's PreK class is having a blast using shaving cream to practice writing letters. Some students even went above and beyond and wrote their names! #RaiseThe Ridge

We awarded a BR Challenge Coin to Hannah Fulton today for coming up with the idea of the Book Fairy for our recent Book Fair and taking the lead to organize, communicate, and gift students new books! Thank you for all you do for BRE, Mrs. Fulton!

Today the BRISD Beta Clubs had their first annual Breast Cancer Awareness walk at Tiger Stadium. The crowd was amazing and it was a beautiful day to walk for a good cause. Together BRISD Beta Clubs raised over $1,000 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Thank you to everyone that came out and helped make today a success! #BRISDpride #RaiseTheRidge

Third GT are taxonomy experts! They finished creating gamified quizzes today, and we loved playing while we learned!



Our first Family Friday of the year was such fun today! Thank you to all the parents who joined us and our amazing Specials teachers who planned! Can't wait to see what next month brings!

The excitement was HUGE today as fourth grade GT found an encrypted message to solve! They not only solved it - they used the cipher to write their own messages! We are cryptographers!



Thank you to everyone helping out the book fairy! Today we had some very happy kids get surprised with a trip to the book fair. So many books and two very long receipts later we as a school and community have helped make a difference in some lives! I also want to shout out one of my students who then used his book fairy time to pick out an extra book for the life skills students. That just shows how kindness trickles down and becomes a waterfall!
