The Blue Ridge Independent School District is proud to announce the hiring of Christian Gober as the new Assistant Principal of Blue Ridge Middle School. The Board of Trustees approved the appointment during the regular board meeting on May 18, 2026.

Ms. Gober brings 17 years of educational experience to the role, including extensive service as a middle school STEM educator, department chair, robotics sponsor, GT coordinator, and mentor teacher. Her career reflects a strong commitment to student growth, instructional leadership, positive school culture, and building meaningful relationships with students, staff, families, and the community.

“Ms. Gober brings a strong background in middle school instruction, campus leadership, and student engagement,” said Superintendent Dr. Darrell Floyd. “Her experience supporting teachers, leading collaborative teams, and creating innovative learning opportunities for students will be a great asset to Blue Ridge Middle School. We are excited to welcome her to the Blue Ridge ISD family.”

Ms. Gober currently serves as a STEM educator at Clemons Creek Middle School in Anna ISD, where she teaches 7th and 8th grade students in computer science, design and modeling, automation and robotics, and science of technology. In addition to her classroom work, she has served in leadership roles, including CTE Department Chair, robotics sponsor, GT coordinator, mentor teacher, and a member of the campus improvement committee.

Prior to her time in Anna ISD, Ms. Gober served as an 8th grade science teacher and department chair at Piner Middle School in Sherman ISD. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for excellence in teaching, including multiple Project Lead The Way National Teacher of the Year honors, New Teacher of the Year recognition, Teacher of the Month awards, and Coyote Salute recognitions.

Ms. Gober holds a Master of Education in Administration from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor of Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and an Associate of Science from Grayson County College.

In her new role, Mrs. Gober will support the Blue Ridge Middle School principal in campus operations, instructional programming, student services, staff support, and continued efforts to create a positive and successful learning environment for all students.
