Blue Ridge ISD is excited to share the first virtual tour of the future Blue Ridge Intermediate School, scheduled to open in Fall 2027 for Grades 3-5. This video is based on current architectural renderings from WRA Architects and provides parents, community members, and stakeholders an early look at the vision for our newest campus.
Although construction has not yet begun and we remain in the design phase, this virtual tour highlights the innovative spaces planned for both inside and outside the building. Viewers will see:
The main entrance and welcoming entry plaza
Collaboration spaces designed for flexible, student-centered learning
The cafeteria and multi-use gathering spaces
The full-size gymnasium
Outdoor learning environments and play areas
Common areas that encourage connection and creativity
A modern, light-filled library at the heart of the campus
The campus design embraces the theme “Rooted on the Ridge,” reflecting a strong connection to the area’s unique outdoor landscape. Natural materials, open spaces, and outdoor-focused learning features are central to the design, creating an environment where students can learn, explore, and thrive.
