Dear Blue Ridge ISD Parents, Guardians, and Spectators,
Blue Ridge ISD would like to thank our community for the tremendous support shown at our athletic events. These games are more than just competitions; they are celebrations of our students, our schools, and our entire community. Your presence and encouragement mean so much to our athletes, coaches, and staff, and we look forward to continuing this tradition of unity and school spirit.
To ensure a safe, orderly, and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone, Blue Ridge ISD has established the following expectations for students and other spectators at home athletic events:
Adult Supervision: All elementary students must be accompanied by an adult to gain entry. Middle school students may attend without an adult only if they sit in the designated supervised student section. Adults are responsible for the behavior of the students they bring.
Seating: Elementary students are expected to remain seated in the bleachers with an adult and, for safety reasons, should be accompanied to the restroom or concession stand. Middle school students are expected to be sitting in the bleachers with an adult or in the supervised student section, unless visiting the restroom or concession stand.
Non-Seating Areas: Congregating, loitering, or playing in non-seating areas (grass areas and/or gym lobbies) is not allowed. Students who fail to follow these expectations will be required to sit with their parents/guardians or may be asked to leave. Students may not bring and/or throw balls or other items in these areas.
Concession Lines: Students are expected to wait respectfully in line, without cutting and without creating any disruptive behavior.
Re-Entry: Once admitted, spectators may not leave and re-enter the stadium without prior permission.
Behavior: All spectators must behave in a manner that is respectful, safe, and consistent with the BRISD and UIL rules. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event and restrictions from future events.
End of Game: Student spectators are expected to leave the athletic complex within 20 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Please ensure rides are arranged in advance.
