Happy National Library Week! We want to start the week off celebrating Mrs. Gallaher! She works tirelessly in the library to support teachers and students.
Mrs. Gallaher has worked in school libraries for 13 years at the elementary and high school levels. One of her goals for this year was to reorganize the fiction books into genres. The idea is to make it easier for students to find a book on a subject they enjoy reading. Our elementary and high school libraries are already organized this way. Mission accomplished! Over 1800 books have been labeled and moved into genres, and so far the students love it.
One of her favorite things to do is to look for new books. She encourages our students to let her know if there are any books they would like to see in our library, and she has received some great feedback. If a student wants to read a specific book, there are usually others that do too.
Go Tigers!!

Help us say thank you to Ms. Gallaher!
From helping find the perfect book to assisting with all the technology, we are so grateful for her dedication and kindness to our students. Thank you, Ms. Gallaher, for all that you do!
