The National School Lunch Program requires households to fill out a new application for free/reduced lunch every school year, including households who were approved last school year. These applications must be completed within the first 30 days of the new school year or the benefits will expire. Benefits from the previous year will expire on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Students whose households have not renewed their application by September 25th will be required to pay for meals. We encourage you to check with the cafeteria on the status of your household and benefits as soon as possible. You may fill out an application online or submit a paper copy. The applications are available on the Blue Ridge ISD website or at www.bit.ly/LunchAppBRISD. If you have any questions, please contact Terri Rodriquez, Director of Child Nutrition.

We will be using the i-Ready program as a tool to help students grow in English and Math. Here is a letter detailing the program.

Blue Ridge ISD uses Anonymous Alerts for students or parents in the school community to anonymously submit any suspicious activity, bullying, or other student-related issues to a school administrator. We encourage you to report important issues. While we understand that anonymity is needed sometimes, we also believe that the best way to address complaints or concerns is through personal contact with a teacher, school administrator, counselor, or coach/sponsor directly.
If you would like to report bullying, cyber-bullying, or other sensitive topics confidentially, please use this link: https://www.anonymousalerts.com/blueridgeisd/
For other types of complaints or concerns, please contact the teacher, coach, or administrator directly via email or phone, and follow the chain of command in resolving those issues.

BRMS had a great first day of classes and we look forward to many more! #RAISETHERIDGE

We had a great start with drop off! Let's keep the winning streak during parent pick up. Follow the yellow arrows in the back parking lot. No parent pick up in front, busses will be loading there.

Boys athletics practices in the afternoon. These athletes can arrive to school at the normal time or ride the bus if they qualify for transportation.

Meet the Teacher Night Reminder
Park behind the Middle School

Walk the Ridge welcoming 6th grade was wonderful! Can't wait to meet our 7th and 8th graders at Meet the Teacher Night Monday. If you missed Walk the Ridge feel free to join us.

The parking lot in front of the administration building will be closed during construction.
Cars follow the RED arrows. Students will enter/exit the cafeteria as usual. We need quick exits from cars to avoid back up.

The parking lot between the Middle School and the Administration building is closed due to construction. Everyone will need to park behind the Middle School and take the path to the cafeteria for Walk the Ridge and Meet the Teacher.

Don't Forget Walk the Ridge for 6th graders and their parents tonight from 5-6. Due to construction everyone needs to park behind the middle school. We will start in the cafeteria. Can't wait to meet you all!

New staff started preparing for an amazing new school year last week. Quality people are ready to capture your students' hearts.
