Blue Ridge ISD will remain closed on Friday, January 30th.
While main roads within town are largely in good condition, many county roads continue to be icy and hazardous. After reviewing bus routes this afternoon, we determined that traveling in these conditions poses an unnecessary risk to the safety of our students and staff.
Additionally, temperatures are expected to drop below freezing again tonight and into tomorrow morning, increasing the risk of refreezing on untreated roads.
