Lesley Jaap – Assistant Principal
I’m thrilled to begin my first year at Blue Ridge Elementary and couldn’t be more excited for the 2025–2026 school year! This will be my fifth year serving as an assistant principal, and I bring classroom experience from teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades.

I grew up in West Texas and earned my undergraduate degree from East Texas Baptist University. My husband is the CFO of an oil and gas company, and we have three wonderful children who will all be joining me at BRE this year. I’m passionate about supporting students, staff, and families, and I’m so excited to be part of the Blue Ridge community!
