    How to Prepare

    Free Personalized Online Exam Preparation

The College Board and Khan Academy have partnered to provide students with free, personalized SAT test preparation. Students can link their scores to the Khan Academy site and receive a personalized pathway to learn content and skills. Students who have not yet taken a PSAT or SAT can complete diagnostic tests online and also receive a personalized learning pathway. Research indicates that students who spend 20 hours studying on Khan Academy earn a 115 point average increase on their SAT. All of the resources are free. For more information on how to enroll, please see the website or follow these directions.

The ACT organization also provides free online ACT preparation through the ACT Academy. For more information, please visit the website.

    College Admissions

While most colleges and universities require a college entrance exam such as the SAT or ACT, some universities are going “testing optional” and not requiring them as part of the admissions process. Please review the website for any college or university that you are interested in to learn about their specific admissions requirements.
