Dear Blue Ridge Family,
Welcome to our 2021-2022 school year. It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter to you as the Assistant Principal of Blue Ridge Elementary. I am honored to be in this position, and I am looking forward to assisting Mrs. Reeves in making this another great school year!
I have spent all twelve years of my professional career working with elementary school students. I was a classroom teacher for 9 years, an Instructional Coach at Allen ISD for two years, and now this will be my second year as an Assistant Principal. It’s was an exciting opportunity to come to Blue Ridge and become part of the community! I absolutely love this community and look forward to many more years here.
My decision to become an administrator came from a strong desire to make a positive impact on an entire school community. As the Assistant Principal, I will continue to work diligently with our faculty and staff to carry out the vision and mission of Blue Ridge Elementary. I believe that as a school, we play a fundamental role in positioning students for future success. I am and will always be committed to working closely with teachers, parents, and community members to ensure our children achieve their full potential and are prepared for their next phase of their education career. I look forward to another year of being a part of the Blue Ridge ISD family.
I can’t wait for the 2021-2020 school year to begin. If throughout the course of the year you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact via email or phone. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (972)-752-4617.
Wishing you and your family a safe and healthy school year.
Cristen Allen, M. Ed.
