Hi! My name is Ashley Elder. I am a graduate of Blue Ridge High School. I bleed green! I have a Bachelors of Science in Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I am also ESL certified and working towards becoming a CALT. This is my sixteenth year of teaching. I started my teaching career in Frisco where I taught for two years. I then spent the following five years teaching second grade in Prosper. I have since been back teaching in the best town around, Blue Ridge. 

      This summer I celebrated my fourteenth anniversary to an amazing man, Brent Elder. We have a twelve year old daughter named Paige. Paige is the light of my life. She’s starting seventh grade here at Blue Ridge Middle School. She has a very busy schedule as she plays softball, volleyball, and basketball.  Most importantly, she is soaring in school. I'm a proud mommy!
