Hello, 1st Grade! My name is Madelyn (Maddie) Moreland. I am a Blue Ridge Alum, having attended kindergarten through twelfth grade here at BRISD. I graduated from TWU in Denton with my Bachelor's in Business Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. However, I was given a GREAT opportunity to come back to my hometown and teach while obtaining my alternative certification. I knew this was the right path for me all along because being a teacher is now my passion. 

My husband, Maverick, and I live in Van Alstyne with our son, Major. We love going to the lake, attending sports games, and being with family. Watching my sister, niece, and nephew play sports is where you can find us most of the time.

This will be my second year as a teacher, and I cannot wait to see what we will accomplish together this year! ♥
