Beginning in 2021-2022, Blue Ridge ISD will begin offering a full-day Pre-K program for students 4 years old on or before September 1, 2021. Students that do not qualify for Pre-K based on the qualifications listed here may still register to be placed on a waiting list. The curriculum framework follows the TEA Prekindergarten Curriculum Guidelines and provides an instructional program that is vertically aligned with the Kindergarten Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. These instructional objectives fall into the categories of language and literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, physical development, fine arts, personal and social development, health and safety, and technology.
