The Blue Ridge community has always been a big part of my life. I was raised outside of Blue Ridge in the Frognot community, and attended Blue Ridge ISD from kindergarten all the way through high school graduation. After graduation, I attended college at Texas A&M University-Commerce where I majored in Mathematics and Health Education. I graduated from TAMUC in 2005...and again in 2012 when I received my Masters of Education degree. I am currently working on my Superintendent certification through the University of North Texas.
This is my first year as Blue Ridge ISD Curriculum Director. Previously, I served as principal of Blue Ridge Elementary. Prior to moving into administration, I taught math and was the head baseball coach at Blue Ridge High School.
When not working with the students and teachers of Blue Ridge ISD, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife, Laura, and I (pictured above) have been married for eleven years, and have two daughters, Mattilynn and Makayla (pictured below). Mattilynn is a Second Grade student, and Makayla is a Pre-K student at Blue Ridge Elementary.
